With this technology, which has been tried and tested for many years, we realise robust, durable and functionally reliable data input solutions for industry. The classic fields of application here are environments in which the devices used are exposed to immissions of all kinds. These include water, dust, dirt, oil, grease or chemical substances.

Thanks to the closed operating surface on the one hand and the robust carrier materials, on the other short-travel keyboards reliably withstand these tough operating environments. High-quality short-travel keys are used in this technology. With a key travel of 0.3mm and an actuation force of 2.6 Newton, they offer precise, clearly perceptible key feedback. The keys are mounted directly on the printed circuit board and above them is an aluminium plate with key cut-outs. This reliably protects the electronics from mechanical damage. A polyester film with the key lettering and a surface embossing forms the top cover. Short-stroke keyboards can be integrated into systems in various ways.

The most commonly used method is frontal installation using rear stud bolts. It is also conceivable, for example, to use mounting holes on the side or keyboards integrated into the enclosure.
