Interference suppression filter
RFI filters are ready-made components consisting of several passive components such as chokes, capacitors, resistors, etc., which are assembled in a housing ready for installation.
They are mostly used in finished devices, machines and systems, where the customer no longer has any influence on the electronics, and thus their EMC, but purchases finished components and then has to adapt them to the given EMC environment by external filtering and possibly additional measures.
