Audio plugs
These 5 and 6 pole audio connectors are qualified and manufactured to MIL-DTL-55116. This includes waterproof polarised plugs and sockets for use in audio frequency circuits with a maximum potential of 60V and a maximum current of 0.5A. The connectors can be equipped with either crimp or solder cup contacts. The rigid contacts in the connectors match the pogo-pin or spring-loaded contacts in the socket. Connector options such as shielding, filtering, right angle connectors and miniaturisation of M55116 products are available. These connectors are used in all military radio and intercom systems for ground, vehicle, air and naval communications.
