Overview temperature sensors, SMT-172The SMT172 is an integrated temperature sensor with three connections that generates a duty cycle as an output signal. Two connections are provided for supply via a 2.7 to 5.5V DC power supply unit. The third port carries the output signal.
A duty cycle modulated output is used, as this can be evaluated by a microprocessor without an AD converter.
