Stainless steel connection enclosure standard

Provides protection in areas where equipment may be hosed down with water or otherwise get very wet, or in special applications where corrosion may be a problem. For high temperature applications a seal holder may be required.

• Terminal wiring enclosure

Structure:

• Housing and lid are made of stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316).
• The articles are also available on request in 1.4301 (AISI 304)
• Smooth, continuously welded seams without chipping, cut-outs or holes
• Moulded seal on housing to exclude liquids and contaminants
• Welded 14-gauge brackets provide the mounting of the enclosure
• The continuously hinged lid has stainless steel hinges and can be opened 180°
• The door latches offer the added security of a quarter-turn slot that requires a tool to open.
• Quarter turn latches made of stainless steel 316
• Seamless moulded seal
• Models larger than 4 x 4" include a removable 14 gauge galvanised inner plate
• Threaded bolts are provided for mounting the interior walls
• One grounding bolt is fitted to the door and one grounding bolt is fitted to the cabinet
• Grounding and fixing material for the panel are supplied

Finishing:

• Cover and housing are made of stainless steel with a smooth, brushed surface
• The removable interior panelling is powder-coated white.
