IntelliHeat, Desoldering iron kit

The SX-100 desoldering iron has been improved so that it no longer clogs! The modular heater has been redesigned to better transfer heat along the length of the new SX-100 tips. SX-100 desoldering tips do not clog because the insulated hot solder path is designed to stay well above the melting temperature of the solder and prevents even lead-free solder from solidifying. The SX-100 desoldering tips are designed for high volume use and feature an environmentally friendly disposable collection chamber that maximises productivity. When the filter is full, simply pull out the chamber, remove the old filter and replace it with a new one - all within 15 seconds! If you prefer, the SX-100 can also be used with a reusable glass chamber (included). The new 2- and 4-sided spade tips allow safe, fast reflow and removal of a wide range of TSOPs, QFP's and flatpacks. The Pik-Tips are designed so that all connections of the component can be reflow soldered simultaneously and have a unique vacuum pick. After reflow, the vacuum is activated and the component is lifted off the PCB. Version with blue connector: For use with InelliHeat systems only.
