Stainless steel operating enclosure standard

Designed to accept standard oil resistant push buttons, switches and indicator lights.
Provides protection against dirt, dust, oil and large amounts of water from any angle or in highly corrosive conditions.

Norms:

• UL 508A type 4 and 4X
• CSA type 4 and 4X
• NEMA type 4 and 4X
• IEC 60529, IP66

Structure:

• Moulded from stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316)
• The articles are also available on request from 1.4301 (AISI 304)
• Smooth, continuously welded seams
• Welded brackets for enclosure mounting
• Captive stainless steel cover screws are screwed into the sealed recesses
• Larger enclosures have removable lids with hinges that hold the lid open during wiring
• Oil resistant seal
• There is a grounding bolt on the door and a grounding bolt on the cabinet

Finishing:

• Natural stainless steel with smooth, brushed surface
