The optical liquid level sensors (level switches) from SST Sensing contain a built-in opto-Schmitt trigger whose output signal indicates the presence or absence of a liquid. The operating principle is based on the optical phenomenon of total internal reflection. They are compact, have a low installation depth and are able to detect even the smallest amounts of liquid.

The smart switches have low sensitivity to ambient light and are not affected by foaming or small bubbles in the liquid.

If the standard range of optical level switches does not meet your requirements, the housing, wiring and connectors can be adapted to your application.
We can also integrate built-in functions such as PWM outputs and insensitivity to moving liquids.
