Pressure


The sensing element consists of four piezoresistors on a chemically etched silicon membrane. A change in pressure leads to an expansion of the membrane and the buried resistors. The resistance values change proportionally to the applied voltage, which produces an electrical output signal. The components are used in potential applications such as dialysis machines, blood analysis, centrofusion and oxygen and nitrogen gas distribution, HVAC equipment, data storage, process control, industrial machinery, pumps and robotics.

Amplified refers to the signal transmission.
Calibrated and compensated refer to the temperature range.
