Robust cast metal housing with sufficient weight to prevent the switch from slipping during operation. All models have a neoprene cover gasket and O-rings on the operating shaft and a separate earthing screw.
On all Maintained-contact models, unlocking is done by simply pressing the latch with a slight forward movement of the toe. The release button is placed under the full guard so that it cannot be easily triggered by falling objects.

Options:

• The oversized "O" and "OX" Shield models are suitable for oversized safety shoes and midfoot protectors. The "OX" shield has an additional opening height of 19.1mm (3/4") compared to the "O" shield
• Two 1/2"-14 NPT threaded connections and metric sizes available by special order
• Special twin and triple models available by special order
• Potentiometer models are available
• RF radio models are available
• Hercules models are available with cast aluminium bases and covers (except for the unshielded cover which is cast iron)
