Stainless steel operating enclosure standard

Designed to accept standard oil resistant push buttons, switches and indicator lights.
Provides protection from dirt, dust, oil and water.

Norms:

• UL 508A type 4 and 4X
• CSA type 4 and 4X
• NEMA type 4 and 4X
• IEC 60529, IP66

Structure:

• Moulded from stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316)
• The articles are also available on request from 1.4301 (AISI 304)
• Smooth, continuously welded seams
• Welded brackets provide for the fastening of the enclosure
• Captive cover screws are fixed in sealed threaded holes
• Larger enclosures have removable lids with hinges that hold the lid open during wiring
• Oil and adhesive resistant seal
• A grounding bolt is provided on the door and a grounding bolt is provided on the enclosure.

Finishing:

• Natural stainless steel with smooth, brushed surface
